We had a fantastic club night last night with those wanting to improve their times and lots of newbies wanting to give it a go

Our 50 Fly winners were Michiela Riley and Kairangi Trinder taking out the money!! Thank you to the Haszard family for sponsoring this event

Big thanks to our coaches on deck Carol, Fiona and Ollie. Love the reassurance you give our swimmers before and after their race!! Our kids definitely love you being there!!

We had alot of parents especially newbies step up to help out timekeeping and Raelene and our recorder Sonia came along to help out with chief timekeepers and helping our parents.

Matt offered to be our starter and did a wonderful job

We had Lester and Dale running our Bbq

David ran our marshaling area and did a fantastic job

And last but not least our Rowan who was our official and sorted out timekeeping. Club night always is the best when we have Rowan coming to help us. We are always needing new officials so please if you think you would like to give it a go, Club night is a great place to start!

Biggest thanks to Talen for stepping up and doing a multiple of jobs runner, helping out Marshalling and talking to our newbies and older kids about keeping warm and why and being our main photographer!!

There was some great racing happening and best of all was seeing our newbies so nervous there was tears and by the end of the night their faces were beaming with the biggest smiles and for us that's why we love club night and that's what it is all about - the mistakes, the learning and the courage to keep going and give it your all!!
